[AlpacaTalk] RE: Teeth

<<Janice:

Ahhhhh, the tooth-a-matic!! Finally saw one a couple of years ago --
used to think they were a gag, but they're real! Here's a
link http://www.thealpacarosa.com/toothamatic.html Don and Carolyn
Marquette sell them and I think he makes them or designed them --
could be wrong on that last part. Anyway, I've seen them work and
they're fabulous -- pricey, about $200.00, and I don't own one, but
wonderful tools. When my herd gets bigger and I have snaggle toothed
animals, I'll invest. Currently, my guys all have good teeth, so
don't really need one. AND the shearer now carries one with him for
us folks that don't have enough animals to justify buying our
own. If you can borrow one, that would be a very good thing if
you've got teeth to get down. If I had one, I'd loan it to you,
but................
Anyway, hope you look up the tooth-a-matic! If nothing else, it's an
interesting tool and quite useful. Hope you can find someone to
borrow from since they are quick and I'm sure, painless.>>

Ohhh, sounds great, but way out of my budget :-(. I only have 3 that
need teeth trimmed. Is it a one person operation with the toothamatic?
Sounds like a wonderful tool. Is there a lender/leaser anywhere?
Thanks again Susan for the information :-).
