[AlpacaTalk] Coccidia/Corrid Question...

Hi Guys!

I'm sorta perplexed here. 15 days ago, I took a fecal sample to the
vet to find one of our girls has Coccidia. The vet prescribed a
Corrid treatment, 5 days taking, 5 days off, 5 days taking. We just
finished or 2nd round of 5 days with medicine. It being a holiday
weekend, I'm having a hard time catching the vet in the office, so I
though I'd post here. So, like I said, she's just finished her
second round of 5 days with medicine. The consistancy of her fecal
matter has changed a few times in the last 2 weeks. One day it's
starting to "harden" up, and the next day it's extremely runny.
We're doing electrolytes to keep her hydrated, but I'm just not sure
it's normal. Can the Corrid make the consistency of her fecal matter
change like that during treatment? We were told to wait until we
finished treatment to do another fecal sample until her last
treatment. Just kinda concerned here. She's pregnant, and she's due
the 4th of September. We didn't really have any problems before
this, and it just so happens our first incident with this sort of
thing was in her last 2 weeks of pregnancy. Any advice/ideas guys??
Thanks in advance...
