Hi Shari,
Sorry I didn't reply right away! I did contact the show sup., affiliate
pres., judge, and Connie Alexander immediately! The only one who has
responded was Connie. The others are "looking into it."

I'm sure that what you described is exactly what happened, but this
sort of error is inexcusable. My boys were shorn 129 days before the
start of the show. 6/12/07. They did have over 380 days of fleece
growth, but that's why they annualize the fleece weight, so the weight
is judged on 365 days worth of growth.

But my main issue is, these fleeces should not have been disqualified.
I am certain they will refund my entry fees, but that doesn't come
anywhere close to compensating for not having the ribbons these fleeces
would have likely won (as they have always ribboned, and very well, in
the past). Is a blue ribbon worth more than the entry fee? I think so,
one almost cannot put a value on a blue ribbon.
