The fleece tag clearly states
Date of this shearing: 6/12/07
Date of last shearing: 5/20/06
Growth time in days: 388
So this is where the confusion was, we had to shear 3 weeks later than
last year. But all 3 of my fleeces had the same shear dates for this
year and last, 2 were disqualified for it.
Of course I'm demanding my entry fees back, but I really wanted those
fleeces judged! They just better not have opened them up and laid them
out on the table only to have them say "Oooh, this one is DQ," then
twist them up beyond recognition they way they do...
