Hi Marsha,
They only know what you tell them and basically you can only show
the most recent fleece. Fleece shows are more honor based than
halter shows because there's no way to know that the fleece entered
is 1) from the alpaca you say it is and 2) that it was the most
recent clip.

Heather,
I hope someone just mistyped/misread and thought the 2 of yours were
2006 vintage, and that they'll be giving you a refund for their
error.
