Re: [AlpacaTalk] fleece shows
Hi Marsha,
I still have some fleeces for a couple years ago and I can't tell the difference. I have been told they dry out and get brittle after a length of time, so really need to get working with them (I have saved them to learn to spin on)
Heather - is there any chance you mislabeled the fleeces with the date 2006? I would want the show to prove to me that I had marked the label wrong, or else someone made a big mistake.

Ok, I'm new to the Alpaca world and haven't shown them or their fleece as of yet; but, how can anyone tell when or how long ago a fleece had been shorn?????? Does the look and/or touch of fleece change after time?

But interestingly, fleece #3 was not dq'ed, and it had the same shear
date, and same previous shear date. ARGH!!!!!!!!
