Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: Hi, newbie here and a question
Your welcome Amanda. I have hopes of learning from postings on this list; along with other means of learning all I can about the Alpaca. I have dogs that I raise and show and belong to a couple lists for them and I know a number of times that some people take others postings the wrong way or feel that the one posting doesn't know what they are talking about. I think that everyone can always learn something from someone elses way of doing things or knowledge. Just because one person shares their way or knowledge on a topic doesn't mean that there might not be other ways or ideas on the same topic. In my opinion, these lists would be most beneficial when everyone feels comfortable with sharing openly on them and doing so for the betterment of the Alpaca. After all, isn't that what a list like this is about?

Dear Marsha,
I agree with you. I am not new to alpacas, but would still like to see
the replies. You have made a good point; one which I hope will be taken
into account. Unless there is a real need for privacy in answering
posts, why not share it all. After all, isn't this what the group is
for, otherwise when interesting questions are asked and discussions
raised, we don't get to either participate, or learn.
Thanks for raising the issue.
Best Wishes
