[AlpacaTalk] Wonderful News - SOS cria issues

 

The tiny mite started nursing from Mom yesterday. Everytime I went to give the bottle. She was under Momma. We have been weighting her at the same time everyday. She weighed in yesterday at 15.4 lbs. She has finally gained. That is almost a pound since birth. Normal poops.

She is very active and starting to actually run around. She still drags her little head some, but not all the time any more and not all the way to the ground. Possibly some strain on her neck when momma cushed during birthing? Things seem to be improving and she is nursing from the booby bar constantly. Momma is happy as well.
