Subject: [AlpacaTalk] Update - SOS - cria issues

We are now working on day 5. She initially lost 0.6 lbs. on the first day. She gained back 0.5 lbs. on the second. We have had some challenges with the weather - trying to keep her body temp regulated, but we got a system.

She cushes normal - stand and walks around on her own. She still tends to hang her head down when she is standing, but starting to hold it up more with time. Still cant(wont) nurse. I have pushed/encouraged/helped try to get her to nurse before giving a bottle. I have also found her under mom and trying to nurse, but she will only try for a minute or two and then stop. I am not sure if she still doesn't have the strength to hold her head up that long or if she's being a little lazy. After all I have her a bottle and she sucks that down with no issues at all.

Again thanks everyone for all the advise. We're still holding strong , but tired.
