[AlpacaTalk] Four Marketing Rules of Thumb:

1.  Who is your marketing about?  Are you talking about yourself and your stuff? (hint) Customers don't care about you and your stuff.

2.  Shotgun approach is better than one shot approach.

3.  If you're not memorable, you're invisible!  Customer service and your niche.

4.  Your business--and your life--are both about relationships and persuasion.

Learn how to apply rules of thumb for success...Marketing books (and seminars) specifically for farmers.  Each book stands alone, each builds on skills and marketing wisdom.  http://beyondthesidewalk.com/books.shtml  Audio CD's of the seminar, too!

Customer comments:

"Thank you so much for all the marketing advice you've been SO kind to share!!! While I have horses and a mini donkey, what I'm marketing are my woodcarvings. You've given me many ideas I hadn't thought of, and also gave my confidence and motivation a boost!"

"I am so glad you printed that book-- it has helped with my marketing strategies SO much."

I was one of the people who proofread Marketing Farm Products and it is AWESOME! In fact, I'm ordering copies hot off the press for several of my friends. I can truly say I learned something new on almost every page and I'll be using Ellie's principles to sell my Storey goat book as well as several titles I plan to self-publish. If you sell anything--any sort of home-based product at all - honestly, you NEED this book. It's much, MUCH better than any other sales or marketing book I've ever read.
