[AlpacaTalk] "Alpaca Attorneys" ?

 

Hi All, thanks for all the help, we are getting things narrowed down here!  Our county does not have a Bar Association, rather we have one locally here in Cincinnati... so we have contacted that Association's Lawyer Referral Service, where the first 1/2 hour consultation "costs no more than $30".  Don't know what other cities or states are offering.  Also just wanted to point out that there is also another avenue that you can go if you are strapped for cash (like us!!) and that is mediation.  Fortunately here in Ohio we have quite a number of organizations that offer mediation services free of charge.  A couple here include The Cincinnati Better Business Bureau, Hamilton County Court of Common Pleas Mediation Service, and the Ohio Commission on Dispute Resolution & Conflict Management.  I found these resources while clicking around on various city, county and state websites. Thanks again, everyone, and best of luck to everyone in working out their conflicts/issues.  This type of stuff is *never* fun and most times is not necessary if everyone would communicate and *think* before they act.   Blessings to one and all, Pia Best regards,   Pia M.
