I absolutely agree with this! I think it's acceptable to leave the last previous post, or, if it's long, a portion of it. But please please please, everyone, don't just reply to a long thread, leaving several email/posts attached!

Can we all try to remember to trim our posts before sending them? I get this list in digest form and sometimes it takes me 10 minutes to read 5 posts because there are 15 other replies within the sender's post.
Also, don't forget to change the subject line when the topic changes.  People might miss something important they could help someone with just because the subject line is the same old one they have already read 100 times.
