[AlpacaTalk] cria not doing right---6 months old

 

 

Hi List,

I am banned over on Alpacasite---but it is our animal, and we are up in Washington State---Elma, to be precise.  It is not ear ticks---for two reasons—first I looked; and second, it is about 25 degrees at night here---so ticks are not out yet, and it is too wet, cold right now for tick season up here.

 

After talking to several folks who are local, and to Steve Hull, who knows his stuff---we think it is PEM so we are giving massive doses of Thiamine, B1…and hope this will do the trick.

 

Thanks to everyone…lets hope we are in time to save her…she is such a beautiful cria and such a sweetie!
