Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: Recent AOBA activities

Unfortunately we aren't having it again this year.  We just found we were putting all our resources into giving the show and nothing was left over for education and other things our members needed.  Perhaps next year.  It IS a great show, though and since it's right in my back yard (figuratively speaking LOL), and I can commute back and forth, I can attend.

Tell them you're happy with an outdoor tent show (like the one you
attended a year or so ago in Cuba).

I will tell you what, I loved that Cuba show!!!! I wish it was just a
bit closer to me and I could do it every year. I even remember stopping
at the rest stop about 1/2 way on a small mountain side and getting the
animals out of the van and a large group of people appeared instantly.
It was over 2 hours before we could get them back in and get going
again. Question after question.

I may try to get over to that show again this summer. Good example of a
show on a budget and still an AOBA event.
It's the Western New York show I believe.
