It seems to me that the reason that they did not have many farms signed up was twofold...
In these financially uncertain times, many wait untill it is close to show time to register.

Trying to register for the show was not possible in the last few days as the link stated that it was closed.
Prior to that I was involved in getting all the prep work for the Heartland Classic at Indy together.
We work full time so....I don't have all day to work at Alpaca stuff.

Also the fees are going up to the point that I will not be able to attend more than one a year.

At least an AOBA/OABA show.

The cost of membership and 2 shows with 2 animals plus expenses to get there will pay for food and vet bills for 10 Alpaca for a year.
