Rachelle,
We have our vet come to our house to put our dogs to sleep. If your dog vet is not the same as your farm vet, your farm vet may be willing.
It is much easier on everyone that way. We are very blessed to have a great guy, Dr. Scot Hosket who takes care of both the large and small animals here. Might be worth a try?
