SO sorry, Rachelle, that is such awful news.  Hang in there.  Jim is right, pets do come back to visit and let you know they are okay.  Look for signs and be aware and you'll just feel them there.  I've had some pretty neat experiences and I used to be a total skeptic.  I actually saw one of my crossed-over horses near her favorite spot in the rose garden several times and ran down to see if one of the other horses had escaped from the pasture but they were all in there.  Big hugs to you all.
