That is a new one on me. I would imagine they would want the bill to be
paid up to date, but I can't understand why your sale proceeds would have to
go into an account for future bills. If you are uncomfortable with a
provision in the contract, ask for it to be explained. If after the
explanation you are still uncomfortable, ask for that provision to be
removed. If they are unwilling to remove it and you are not comfortable
with it, trust your instincts - They are probably right!
