Susan,

Just be careful if this is his first time--you want it to be a good experience, otherwise he may become shy (for lack of a better word). You may want to test her with a more experienced male, and if she's receptive, pull him out before he engages and put in the younger one in the pen. I know, not fair to the old guy, but better than traumatizing the young one...
