I haven't been raising animals for a few years, but used to be on the shelves at the feed stores that carried non RX meds.  Or check with Jeffers etc.

A relatively inexpensive and very effective topical skin treatment is to use
tubes of mastitis treatment, any brand, tho I like the one that contains
penicillin for skins stuff. Most are made with an innocuous oil (sesame in one
if I recall) and an antibiotic.
