[AlpacaTalk] Condor

well thanks to everyone who contributed "condor" info - he is so beautiful i wish i could spirit my girls across Canada to Ontario and arrange some play dates - I have a son who lives there but i can't talk him into putting a few alpacas in his back yard.

as Allison was saying, nothing but boys for two years as we are starting out was a little daunting - when our first cria arrived this summer and was a boy - i told my husband, "well, we're going to have a boy farm. Get used to it" - and then our little Mirabella was born, our first girl, and from our "retired" nanny alpaca who we hadn't planned to breed at all. What a surprise (we thought she was retired) The dam is full Chilean and can only be called 'grade'. Mirabella's sire is a grandson of Acero Marka's Rockamundo and he definitely brings out the best in our girls.

Mirabella reminds us it is worth it to keep going, and if i had a chance at a male like Caligula or Condor, i would scrounge up the stud fee gladly.
