[AlpacaTalk] He's Eating Grain!

HI All,

I just had to tell some one!! I have a male, who was born in Feb 07. Up untill this morning, Thursday 25 Sep 08, he had not eaten any grain. Had a vet tell me to soften up some grain and squirt it in his mouth, about 30cc morning and night. He also said ' in a few days he will come to you and want it'. That was BULL!! As was ' for a couple weeks.' I had used a used banamine tube every morning and evening feeding since the end of Feb 08, to give him the feed. I had to corner him.

This morning I went out to feed him and his gelding buddy. I put grain in the dish for the gelding, then went outside to get my little fence that I used to block his escape. I was watching him, he stuck his nose in the dish a couple times then took some grain and ate it!!

Doing the happy dance!!
