Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: AOBA Shennanigans/subsidiary
Hi Toni,
Although I do agree that this is probably more than any newbie wants to see, it is something that has happened in every animal group I have been involved with, and I joined my first dog club in 1982.? I remember at the first dog club meeting I attended, there was a major division that had occurred in the club recently and the two groups wouldn't even talk to each other.
The problem (IMO) is that people would say things over the Internet that they would never say in person.? Or what they say is misunderstood, although I doubt that is a problem here.?
This discussion is no different from the ones on breed standards, etc etc - no one is going to change there position.? It will go on and on until someone cries "Uncle".

Wow, I think everyone needs to back up for a sec and take a breath!
Shouldn't the primary concern be...what the hell is going on with ARI
and what is their intentions? Witch hunt? Come on. Do any of you
know Heather on a person level? Who are all of you to be judge and
jury?
Do any of us really know what goes on inside any coperation?
I think ya'll are acting like little kids....Who are all of you to
cast stones? Bad...just bad. I feel sad for all of the newbies out
there that are reading this string. This is just bad marketing for
the alpaca community. Ya'll look like jack asses....just act your
age...lighten up and who the hell cares any way! If you don't like
it GO AWAY! BUT DON'T ACT LIKE LITTLE BRATS! It is an okay thing to
ask questions and have opinions but this is just plain stupid. (AND
I HATE THE WORD STUPID
