Re: [AlpacaTalk] Re: [alpacapolitics] Re: AOBA fees

Jess,
I do not have a right to say who told me this, however she is a well
known breeder and if she reads this she will probably speak up. I was
really disgusted because I could not afford to go just as any one of the public
could attend, vendors and such, and I said I would like to listen to one
National Meeting. I was told that people were not allowed to get in if they had
not registered and paid. She said not to regret because I could not get in
any way.

I will respectfully disagree. We were there and there was no requirement to
have any credential whatsoever to enter the vendor hall or the meeting area.
We did not display our badge nor was there any checkpoint of any kind in
that entire building. The only locations at nationals that require
credentials are the barns; same as previous years.

I challenge anyone that was "refused admittance" to step forward, identify
themselves and tell us exactly where they were refused admission and by
whom. Again, the only locations that require credential are the barns, and
they're a long way from the meeting hall and vendor displays.

The determination by the CPA firm that AOBA had UBI tax liabilities was
announced at the meeting. Discussion of the item and subsequent decision to
form a subsidiary has also appeared in the BOD minutes. They're online and
available to everyone.

The conspiracy theories here are getting deeper than our poop pile.
