I think that was me :)
Out here in the "west" we get 3 string bales that are about 5' long x 2' wide x 1 1/2' high, and they weigh generally 110-120 lbs. I know that back east, you have smaller bales, I was surprised when I saw these :)

$11. In our neck of the woods, a 30-40 lb. square bale of orchard
grass hay costs approx. $2-3. Quite a discrepancy, if the bales are
the same size! Of course, climactic conditions vary greatly.
