The same thing is true of the space between the back doors and the bumper of
a van. I filled that space on my GMC van with a length of 2 by 2 lumber. I
regularly transport both llamas and alpacas in my full-sized GMC van, fitted
with rubber mats on the floor and a "spit curtain" hanging behind the
driver's seat.
