[Alpacasite] Re: Farm visitorsay they "would not pay for the F&R Guide" and Re: ARI fees
This is the attitude about alpacas I was talking about
in an earlier post. The assumption is that anyone who
breeds, buys, or thinks about buying alpacas has loads
of money and doesn't mind spending it. True also of
getting that DNA test re-run. And paying extra for
Alpacas Magazine.
So why is the F&R guide so expensive in the first
place? Maybe the information could be presented in
format that doesn't cost so much to print.
So far my most effective ads have been: (1) state
llama organization website with free member farm
listings and (2) classified ad in Farm Bureau member
publication. My most expensive ad, in the ILR "I
Wanna Llama" publication, got no response at all, so
they don't get my money anymore.
