Just wondering, because I tried to get a ranch identifier removed from an alpaca, when the ILR had our info. I was told I couldn't do it because the animal was over two years old. I had permission from the breeder.

Camille,
As I recall, you can get a name change (with the permission of the breeder)
unless the alpaca in question has registered offspring. Then it's too late.

That's my recollection.
