The cria is fine, living happily with friends of ours who have a small
fiber farm. He does have excellent fiber - soft, lustrous suri fiber
in very tight pencil locks. My question is what is reasonable
compensation for this unfortunate mistake. It is one thing to have
your female bred to the wrong male, but another to have her bred to the
wrong species. ;-) What would you do if this happened to you?

My contract says a live birth guarantee. The male is sold and so are
the other herdsires from the farm.
