I guess it is a fine line. A reply like yours, with a referral to someone else, is not advertising, and is possibly helpful to all, so is fine if it's public any day of the week.
A reply to one;'s own services IS advertising, and should be a private reply, or is allowed on Fridays.
And again, it was after much discussion with the members that this came about.
