Heather if you look on my website www.gwfarmanimals.com and scroll to the very end you will see the huacaya suri crosses I have for sale.  They have the most wonder fiber to work with, however they are a dickens to sell. I have learned that the crosses are a big NO NO in the alpaca world.  I had two years where my big suri male proved to be more deer like than alpaca. He has been sold so that is at least over. 
 
Just some FYI
 
Suri is a dominate gene and "usually" overides huacaya however there are instances where a suri is born to 2 huacaya and they have no tracable suri in the background.  Any way just know I think that fiber is some of the best fiber I have ever spun.

I just sent pics to both you and Judith. They're from the day she was born, and I'll really try to remember to bring my camera down to get close-up fleece shots of her at my next feeding of the bottle babies.
