alpacas: [AlpacaTalk] Alpacas for re-homing

We have just been notified of 6 alpacas available for re-homing to anyone who might be interested. They are in Annapolis, MD. The present owner used them as a fiber herd but is unable to keep them due to economic reasons. They are all white Bolivians, 3 girls and 3 boys. At present, SELR if functioning as the go-between to help the owner place these animals but they have NOT been surrendered to SELR and therefore there is no adoption fee. We are in the process of searching for foster homes so that if we cannot assist with re-homing we can accept them into SELR and work through our system to place them. If they are placed through SELR there will be an adoption fee of $250 for the first, $225 for the second and $200 for anybody thereafter so jump on this now if you are interested. Our foster homes are slammed so we really are hoping to avoid a formal surrender of these animals.
