Re: [AlpacaTalk] Magnolia May is gaining!
Laura that is good news!! I am so glad for you!! My cria is taking 16-18oz every 6 hours, the goal is 20 oz's 3 X's daily.I can see light at the end of the tunnel, just a couple more weeks.Ressi will be a month old on the 20th.I am not going to leave her out during the day with the herd unless I am home.Put her out with the herd like always this a.m. Had to leave the farm for 3 hrs this afternoon cold rain storm came in--she did not go to any of the 3 shelters with the herd I found her drenched cushed out in the middle of a pasture. At this point I guess keeping her healthy and safe tops the need for herd interaction. Always,T

Subject: [AlpacaTalk] Magnolia May is gaining!
She was born at 7pm Tuesday and weighed 17.0 Since then her lowest weight has been 16.2.
Today she weighs 17.2 so she is gaining a little at a time and doing well. Momma is very attentive and getting lots of groceries, including alfalfa.
I am still ordering the herbal supplements. Can't hurt!
