Magnolia May is doing well. I asked my dh to weigh her last night and he said she weighed 18.5 – her birth weight was 17.0 a week ago and she has gained back her loss down to 16.2 (lowest wt) I was thrilled. She weighed 17.2 Sunday pm.
Then I asked him, “Did you take off her coat?”…………duh…………”no”………..
That’s okay, we weighed her tonight (without her coat) and she weighs 18.0 which means she is gaining………not dramatically, but gaining. We are keeping a close eye on her weight and making sure mom is getting extra groceries for her. I think a gain of .8 in two days isn’t too bad. I am thankful it is going in the right direction!
