[AlpacaTalk] Re:Todays AOBA Update - Alpacas Magazine Update
There is no question print is better in many respects. First most do not have the storage for 2M, multi issues and yes just go out and buy more - good idea if you have a lot of cash laying around. Heck the only thing laying around here are beans. I agree with Susan, the flexibility of carrying that magazine, sharing it with those that do not have nor want internet access (and yes there are many), and being able to read it without a box hung around my neck is superior. Last, there are many who have trouble reading online print. Those of you who do not will not understand this but having spent 32 years in online development I think my mind has said enough and reading online text and understanding it have gone separate ways. Perhaps the issue is to provide either online or print and this can be another source of revenue and distribution for Alpaca Magazine and AOBA. Either way the costs of printing a magazine are generally the development and layout, not the distribution and printing.
