I don't know if it still holds true, but I believe there was a time (way
back when I started out) when you couldn't advertise non-AOBA show
ribbons or championships in Alpacas Magazine, which is why so many farms
refuse to attend anything but AOBA-certified shows.

Boy I cannot imagine this to be true. Why not just stick a sign up that
says sue me That sounds like Pro-Aoba show person scare tactics to me. I
have advertised in the past in Alpaca magazine and never had to edit any
of my adds. To me this type of stuff just re-enforces the need for the
show entity and primary national association to be two different groups.
Too many conflicts of interest, etc....
