Uh, you scoop poop in mud? Not me! It's too much of a mess and the poo and mud get all mixed and...well, I just bypass that job when it's muddy, freezy, or snowy -- and it 's a mess out there! We got about 8" of snow yesterday - today with lots of wind and much blowing and drifting......Locked my girls in since the wind was coming out of the east and their door faces that direction. Kept the barn a lot drier! I hate locking them up like that, but......weather sometimes demands it. They would have slept in it anyway...which probably would have been fine, but I wouldn't have liked it. Anyway......just waiting for the spring to arrive at this point.....and know there is more bad to come our way in southern Ohio.

 

Hope everyone else is okay and tolerating their weather......it's just a bite this time of year! I'm a spring/summer girl!

So how is everyone doing? It's been very quiet here lately. I know I'm just trying to get motivated to go scoop poop. Here in Oregon, it is so incredibly muddy that it makes it very hard to go out and just it over with. I hardly mind at all in the summertime when it's nice a dry!
