[AlpacaTalk] Droncit

 

Hi all,

Could someone give me info on Droncit for tape worms? I've most recently used Synanthic but it seems it's no longer available.

In Dr. Evan's book it states to use Droncity 1.5 mg/lb. oral or SQ. My vet says they have gotten it in either injectable form or tablets.
Could someone who's used Droncit tell me which one they've found easier and/or more affective? Also, is it more or less costly than Panacur or Safeguard? Synanthic was so much cheaper than Panacur/Safeguard not to mention having to dose for 3 to 5 days.
