[AlpacaTalk] Whose Business Are You Building?
The most important asset you can have for selling your
alpacas is your own website and a list of the people who
visit it.
If you collect the names of your visitors, you can then
follow up over a period of time, building a relationship,
and eventually leading to sales.
Unfortunately, most farms are not doing this – instead
they are building the relationship for AlpacaNation, by
directing their buyers to that site. Not only do they lose
the ability to interact with their potential buyers, but they
also send them to an environment with hundreds of other
farms offering alpacas for sale. Does that make sense?
Of course it doesn’t.
A professionally designed, search engine optimized,
website is essential for any farm seriously interested in
marketing. It is the only way to differentiate your farm
from all the others, and to collect the names and email
addresses of your visitors.
And if you have a website and you’re not capturing email
addresses, you’re throwing money away.
If you would like a free review of your site’s effectiveness
and ideas on how to improve it, or information on having
a professional website designed for you, email me for
