[AlpacaTalk] RE: Broken Leg

Oh Robin, what bad news; I am so sorry for the little girl. But was
encouraged to read Carolyn's post.....and your subsequent one. Sounds
like your girl will be "our" first 3 legged. I've seen dogs do
amazingly well with only 3 legs. Will be very interested to know how
this turns out. My hopes and prayers will be with your girl.
And Carolyn, how sad - isn't it just beyond the pits to get news like
that *after* the fact. How very sad that must have been. I am so very
sorry. Man these guys really get into it don't they?

Note on the wild cherry - after posting about it yesterday I was out in
the horse pasture cutting out a bunch of overgrown Poke and some noxious
vicious looking weeds and was horrified to see all the wild cherry
seedlings. I was cutting for 3 hrs; everytime I thought I was done I
would spot more. Sooo many leaves to kill:-(.

PS I am no herb doctor, but comfrey is the herb for healing bones,
along with boneset. Also...darn it I'm drawing a blank now, there is an
herb that is very high in silica (important for growing bones) - horse
something, horsetail?
