So glad that he's looking good now! Be sure to keep a close eye on him and make sure that he continues to eat and drink normally. After what he's been through, I think I'd be tempted to give him a few days of probiotics at the very least. Laurel's suggestion of thiamine wouldn't hurt, I don't think either. Also, might want to wait a week or two and just run a fecal for fun....make sure his 'down time' didn't let any parasites take advantage of the situation. Again, so very glad he seems to be out of the woods, but do keep a close eye on him and keep us posted on his progress!

WOW! What a day! He decided that hewas done being sick and stood up and wanted out of the pen.
Cayenne wondered around the small pasture did his business and grazed. He was wobbly but interested in eating, drinking and of course the girls. I had to fight with him to put him up the evening he even tried to run and hide from me.
I know we are not completely in the clear but we sure are on the road to recovery.
Once again I want to thank you all for your wonderful support, advise and concern.
Jim
