Hey Jim,
I would be inclined to call your state vet school or have
your vet do so for experience in treating alpacas for poisoning.

As others have posted, it is essential that your fella keeps getting
nutrition and fluids. If you can't get the FIBRevive, then the slurry
mentioned is an excellent choice to keep him hydrated as well as keep his
gut going. You may also want to consider a rumen transfer.

It
may be that your male actually was experiencing polioencephalomalacia
which is basically a thiamine deficiency which has major neurological
effects. The B12 shots are thiamine and this may have turned him around,
but they should probably be continued, as long as he is not back to
normal.
