[AlpacaTalk] AlpacaTalk Friday Market!

Hi everyone! It's Friday Market on AlpacaTalk!

Have I got a deal for you!

I finally sent off Kallista and Scirocco's samples to Yocom-McColl
last week, and I got the results back Tuesday morning!

You won't believe it, I almost didn't, but they said they ran it
twice to make sure. Scirocco's 4 year micron is 20.8! First year was
16.6µ. Our entire herd had micron blow-outs in 2006 due to problems
with the commercial feed we used. Scirocco was no exception.
2005: afd:16.6 sd:3.0 cv:18.1 %>30µ:0.8 Sirolan
2006: afd:20.2 sd:3.4 cv:16.7 Comfort Factor:98.9% Whittick OFDA 2000
2008: afd:20.8 sd:3.6 cv:17.3 %>30µ:2.4 Sirolan

In case you aren't familiar with Scirocco, he is a dark rose grey
Avatar son, the only working Avatar son in Oregon to my knowledge. He
has two blue ribbons to his credit, and two top place in his class
(shows with numerous classes with no 1st place... you know what I
mean) as well as numerous other 2nd place ribbons. He has a gorgeous
head, and excellent conformation. Fleece... well who doesn't want
20.8 microns at 4 years? Plus multiple blue ribbons? You just can't
have too many of those in the pastures!

I'm currently putting all of my boys on sale for $750 for a local
drive-by or mobile breed. 30% down, the next 20% due at time of
breeding, following 50% due at pregnancy confirmation (dam owner's
responsibility at 30-60 days after breeding).

I also have my wonderful Kallista on sale for $14,000, with up to 2
years interest free financing. I would also take $12,000 cash. Her
paternal half sister won color champ at ABR 2008. All of her sibs,
maternal and paternal are ribbon winners and sport low micron. You
all surely know she is 3/4 sister to Delphi Alpacas' Amelia
Braveheart, mother of Champions! Kallista is light fawn, she's half
sister to Scirocco. Her 1 year micron came back at 16.2, the lowest
on the farm to date!
afd:16.2 sd:3.4 cv:21.0 %>30:0.8 Sirolan

She placed 2nd at the EVAA fleece show last year, and according to
the new color combining rules, she would have been with beige and
light fawn, so would have won a blue ribbon... As it was, she placed
2nd to a MF Derwydd Inti-Sapa son with 1 lb greater fleece weight.

Two free breedings are available with her purchase. She is ready to
breed to any of my boys (except Scirocco), and I have a few other
excellent options available at no cost to the buyer. If you're
interested, please contact me!

Fleece samples for both Kallista and Scirocco are available on
request, or come by and see them in person!
