[AlpacaTalk] Advertising day announcement
Hello group!
Recently we had much discussion regarding advertising on the group.
The end result was, the membership does not want ads posted to the
group, however one day a week for advertising would be acceptable to
pretty much all who responded on that question.
So, here it is:
Friday will be our advertising day.
Everyone is free to post ONE ad only. It is up to the poster what the
content of the post will be, but do keep in mind that readers have
short attention spans and get bored quickly. I have no question that
my posts on AlpacaMarket are generally too long no matter how short
and exciting I try to make them! Just something to keep in mind.
If you wish to reply to an ad post, do not reply to the group! Reply
privately to the person who made the post. I'm sure there will be
"accidents" but do be careful.
Ellie Winslow is going to post about effective websites, possibly
today. I think this is less of an ad than educational material for
all of us, so I think it's very appropriate for the group.
Any questions, feel free to ask, privately or publicly!
