The dog coats I bought were on clearance when I bought them a few years ago and I even bought an XXL to use on my older girl in the winter. They were actually sturdier than the cria coats I bought in the past and only cost me from $9.99 to 16.00. Even at full price they are cheaper than cris coats. Flossie (Always the bargain hunter-lol)

hi Flossie - this is another great idea you have - now i am watching for dog coats at garage sales, as well as looking forward to making my own, using a pattern. It is so wet here i would like to have a number of coats on hand so i can change them often and keep my babies dry. That's what happens when you live in a swamp.thanksWendyDreamWeaver AlpacasBC----- Original Message ----- From: LunarStruck@aol.com To: AlpacaTalk@yahoogroups.com Sent: Monday, December 08, 2008 2:27 PMSubject: Re: [AlpacaTalk] cria coats? Thanks, Flossie!SUSAN OLSONAlpaca LocoRiverside, CAIn a message dated 12/8/2008 2:26:29 A.M. I bought them from Big Dee's on the internet. They have velcro on the neck flap and on the belly band. FlossieFlossie and Joe Carmichael GentleGrangeAlpacas Jamison,Pa.
