Could you be thinking of Cantano of Peru?  He is an awesome Suri herdsire that passed away this past May.  Condor?...Contano?...could have confused names in the grapevine.  Robin

no, the picture is of Peruvian Condor - i'd know his picture anywhere - i have been drooling over him since the first time i saw his picture and read about him - i think he's magnificent - i'm glad the rumor of his death is unfounded.

It could be a different Condor, or his death may not have been reported
to ARI. I'd hazard a guess that many deaths do go unrecorded.
