I think you'll be happy with the D.E.. I buy it from my feedstore,
online is just too expensive.

No, I do not mix the D.E. in the grain cans in addition to feeding it, I
mix it in there INSTEAD of feeding it to each individual alpaca. I kind of
guess how much goes into each can and pour D.E. in while I'm pouring the feed
bags in. Its just easier to feed that way.

Diatomaceous earth are fossilized diatoms and their structure doesn't
change throughout the intestinal system. That's why it works for some worms
and comes out in the manure the same way. You could sprinkle it on the manure
also, I just don't because we clean ours everyday and it would just waste it.

I am absolutely convinced D.E. is safe for the intestinal lining or I
would not feed it.
