Thanks so much. For me, though, it's 3 months of lost production and
having to worry about a fall birth next year. Or, wait till spring and
lose a year's production. I'm more concerned about the dam. However,
she seems to be perfectly fine. I losing the pregnancy this early
doesn't appear to upset them at all, unlike with full or near term
stillbirths.
My Scirocco is born and bred on my farm, he a son of the rose grey
champion Avatar of Delphi Alpacas in Colorado. I know there's an Avatar
in Canada, too!
