Re: [AlpacaTalk] grouply

Thanks for the info, Wayne.

To the group, Honestly, this is the first time I've ever heard of
Grouply. But I am definitely against spyware, and would hope that if
someone wants to forward posts from this group, that they would ask the
author specifically, and should ask for each particular post they wish
to quote. Plagarism is a crime.

I would hope that Joanne isn't engaging in that kind of activity. And I
have noticed that she has yet to post on this group since joining in
the beginning of the year. What's up, Joanne? Do you have interest in
alpacas, alpaca breeding, or at least alpaca fleece? Please join in
conversation here.

On another note, I maintain that I have yet to ban or remove members.
Anyone is free to un-subscribe themself if they dislike the
conversation, as some people did during the heated conversations last
year. But, I do remove spammers and others whose actions are not in the
spirit of the discussion group. So, if I see evidence that someone is
in this membership is doing anything detrimental to others in this
group, or to yahoo or yahoo account holders, I will not hesitate to
remove that person.

Here's a link I found regarding Grouply and Yahoo on Snopes.com:

Here's another discussion about Grouply on Yahoo! Answers:

Comments are welcome.

Best regards,
Heather
