Re: [AlpacaTalk] not receiving messages
I think it was just a slow day on the site. I know I haven't been
posting, we've had quite a busy day around the farm. We have a cria who
had an eye that was clouded over, then it started growing. It got
bigger and bigger every day despite ointments and antibiotic
injections. I was certain there was a brain tumor or something, but the
vet came out and removed the eye. The poor dear had somehow gotten an
infection in the eyeball itself. Let me tell you how gross that was.
But, no amount of ointments or antibiotics were going to save that eye,
and at least now she's no longer in pain, and has the opportunity to
heal and grow up fairly normally. This baby was only 10 days old!
Our vets say this year is a very bad year for dystocias, crazy weird
things... We agree! Best of luck everyone!
